NET4SOCIETY brokerage event: PRESENTATIONS ONLINE!

The 1st international NET4SOCIETY brokerage event - a meeting point for all stakeholders in the SSH research community who are interested in the calls opened in Theme 8 Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities in July 2009 - has taken place and given great ideas for the 2nd event to be expected for 2010.

Please take note:

• further meetings: there will be a EU InfoDay on ADDICTION & LIFESTYLES October 27 in Brussels
• if you want to voice your opinion: there will be an EU consultation on the modification of the financial regulations.

Apart from bringing together researchers to inform them about the FP7-SSH-2010 Call, the aim of the NET4SOCIETY brokerage event was to establish new consortia and partnerships in the frame of FP7-SSH 2010 Calls - mainly these three large scale integrating research projects:

• SSH.2010.1.2-1. Changing the role of the financial system to better serve economic, social and environmental objectives
• SSH.2010.3.2-1. Addiction and lifestyles in contemporary European societies
• SSH.2010.4.1-1. Europe facing a rising multi-polar world
