The new approach in SSH:

presentation, photos & webstreaming of the European Commission's Info Day "Turning to the future: a new approach for EU socio-economic and humanities research until 2013", Brussels, Friday 5 June 2009 are now available on the EUROPA-server.

DG-L, the Science, Economy & Society Directorate has  informed the SSH research community and the  National Contact Points about the changes to expect for the next calls for proposals in FP7, Theme 8.

Apart from Commission speakers, three successful project coordinators informed the audience about their large FP6 projects (CHALLENGE, ACRE, WORKS) and demonstrated the feasibility but also possible problems & pitfalls of large projects. Professor Wolfgang Mackiewicz talked about the SSH Expert Advisory Group's view on SSH, strategy & large projects.
