“Opportunities” - collection of topics of potential interest to SSH researchers funded within the other thematic areas of FP7 SSH ready for inspection. Funding opportunities in all areas of FP7 complement the SSH programme!

Researchers from the socio-economic sciences and humanities who are familiar with Theme 8 “Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities” and the calls opened in July 2009: please be aware that there are indeed numerous opportunities for socio-economic research and humanities research in the other areas of the 7th European Research Framework Programme (FP7).   NET4SOCIETY yearly undertakes the task of screening all FP7 Work Programmes in the programmes Cooperation, Ideas, People and Capacities to identify these additional funding opportunities and ease SSH inclusion in other thematic areas such as environment and health.

Not all topics that mention SSH related subjects or themes in the other areas of FP7 are included but only those that contain SSH related themes with very strong relevance - you might be well advised to screen the work programmes yourself!
